Monthly Review: April 2013

Oh man. Another one bites the dust. April is officially over, which makes way for May. May’s going to be an exciting month filled with fun things such as: My birthday! A trip to the Jersey Shore with friends! Memorial Day weekend! Warmer weather!

I can’t wait! For now, let’s see how April stacked up.

Monthly Recap: March 2013

As you saw in my earlier post, we’re a quarter of the way through the year! While it’s exciting to have some extra daylight, it is a little scary that things have been moving so quickly.

I barely even remember March. ‘Twas just a haze.

2013 Goals Update #1

Whoa. HOLD UP. It’s the end of March.

That means that we’re already a quarter of the way into our year! I do think it’s scary, but I’m excited, because it’s time to do a quarterly goals update for all of you Living in Fluxers.

The other day I wrote about creating SMART goals and you know that I have 10 goals for 2013, plus you follow me through my monthly goals. Now it’s time to share my progress on my big goals for the year.

Monthly Recap: January 2013

WHOA! HOLD UP HERE!

It’s almost February. As in, there are only a few more hours left in January. As in, we’re already 1/12 of the way through 2013.

How did that happen?

While time was floating by quickly, I’ve been trying to get into the swing of 2013. Here’s the lowdown on the month before and the month ahead.

10 Goals for 2013

Yesterday, I focused on what did and did not go well in 2012. Overall, I have to say that it was a good year. Now, it’s time to look forward to 2013, and specifically goals for 2013. There are only a few more hours to pull out my dancing shoes and hit up the dance floor with my smooth (or not so smooth moves). I plan to dance and drink and eat the night away with my friends to ring in the new year… before I go into full party mode, I want to focus on the year ahead.

Last year, I came up with 12 personal goals for 2012. This year, I was debating coming up with 13 goals, but finding myself stuck at 10, I decided to keep it a bit more concise. Here is what I have in store for 2013 … in no particular order.

Yearly Review: What Did & Did Not Go Well in 2012

Hello all! As the number of minutes to 2013 quickly diminish, it’s time for me to take stock of where I’ve been and where I’m going in 2013 and conduct a yearly review. This post is mostly for me, but it’s also something that will have an effect on the goings on of Living in Flux.

I imagine this post will be a doozy, but it’s important stuff! First, I’ll talk about how 2012 went for me: what went well in life, career, money and travel. Then I’ll talk about what didn’t go as well for those areas. I’ll follow-up tomorrow (just in time for midnight) to highlight my goals for 2013.

Monthly Recap: November 2012

December is upon us and we are quickly marching toward the end of 2012. Pretty soon, it’s going to be time to start assessing how well I achieved my goals for 2012 and determining how I want 2013 to play out. That’s going to be a treat for this coming month, so in the meantime, I’ll recap November.

Monthly Review: October 2012

November 5th already?! I’m still playing catch-up with blogging and life in general, so it’s no surprise that it’s already this far into the month.

Last month, I shared four goals that I had for October. As I went through October and subsequently failed at all achieving all of them, I began to think about how I wasn’t sure how my personal goals would really be helpful to you.

Obviously, this blog is where I share my life and my experiences and goals, but I don’t want my life to be the sole focus: I want to provide entertaining and empowering information that you can use as you navigate the terrain of life.

So, I’m going to try something a little different as I move forward.
