Greetings! I’m Nicole. Welcome to Living in Flux, my budget lifestyle website! I originally hail from East Coast, USA and am currently living in Hamburg, Germany.
I started Living in Flux, because I was at a time in my life where I was struggling between paying off my student loans and wanting to live my life to the fullest. I thought (and still do) that blogging would help keep me accountable to do cool things, accomplish my goals, and keep my budget in check at the same time.
I write about life, travel, money and goals. And a lot of the times, I’ll write about two of those topics at the same time. I LOVE to write fact- and research-based posts that detail exactly how I did something or how much it cost. I’ll often research a topic and then disseminate the results of that research here.
The idea here isn’t to show you how to be me. It’s to show you how to approach a problem or how to analyze something that you want to do in terms of what your budget or lifestyle can handle. I hope my way of thinking and writing can help you think about what you want to do with your life and how you’ll ride the “flux” of life.
