About

Welcome to Living in Flux – a budget lifestyle blog!

Living in Flux is a lifestyle blog for twentysomethings and thirtysomethings who want to live fun, active, and exciting lives in a financially responsible way. Basically, this is a budget lifestyle blog – a place to inspire you how to life the lifestyle you want and achieve the goals you set with the budget you have.

I’m Nicole and I started out my adult life with over $96,000 in student loans. I talk about a lot of things here, but they usually tie back to how I balance my budget with all of the things that I want to do with my life. Like any twentysomething or thirtysomething, I want to go out, have fun, see the world, and do exciting things! But I also have this pesky thing called student loans. And eventually I want to retire some day. Oh yeah, and I want to feel secure that I have a sizable emergency fund in case anything urgent comes up.

Basically, I want to have my cake and eat it too when it comes to the budgeting department. This place is where I search for and find my balance. I hope you find yours, too!
